Welcome to Rava. Please read these Terms carefully before using the app. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Who We Are
Rava is operated by Jackson Davis, an individual located in the United States ("we," "us," or "our"). Our service helps pet owners understand whether their pet's symptoms may require veterinary attention.
2. What Rava Is — And Is Not
Rava is an informational tool. It uses artificial intelligence to help you assess pet health situations and understand what steps to take next.
Rava is not:
- A veterinary practice or veterinary service
- A licensed medical service of any kind
- A substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis or treatment
- An emergency service
The assessments generated by this app are general informational guidance only. They are not veterinary advice, and they are not diagnoses. Every pet is different. The AI model that generates assessments does not know your pet, has not examined your pet, and cannot account for every factor that a licensed veterinarian would consider.
3. AI-Generated Assessments
Our assessments are generated by Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic. When you submit a symptom report — including any photos or video frames — that information is sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
AI models can make mistakes. They may miss important context that a physical examination would reveal, be uncertain about unusual symptoms, or generate plausible-sounding but incorrect information in some cases. We review our prompts and safety guidelines regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every response will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
Always use your own judgment. If something feels wrong with your pet, trust your instincts and contact a veterinarian regardless of what the app says.
4. Your Account
You must create an account to use Rava. By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when registering
- Keep your sign-in credentials and your device secure
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
5. What You May and May Not Do
You may:
- Use Rava for pets in your household or under your care
- Share AI assessments with your veterinarian as supporting context
- Access your own data and request deletion of your account at any time
You may not:
- Use the app to harm, neglect, or facilitate cruelty to animals
- Submit false or deliberately misleading information
- Use the app for commercial resale or white-labeling without our written permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable law
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. No Warranty
Rava is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, including:
- That the service will be accurate, complete, or error-free
- That the service will be available at any particular time
- That the service is fit for any particular purpose
- That using the service will lead to any particular outcome for your pet
Use of this service is entirely at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jackson Davis and anyone acting on his behalf shall not be liable for:
- Any harm to your pet arising from reliance on our assessments
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Any loss of data or service interruption
- Any decisions you make based on information provided by the app
Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. If you have not paid us anything, our liability is zero.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if we have reason to believe your account is being misused, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the address below. Upon termination, your access to the service ends. We may retain certain data as required by law, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Nevada.
